Fresh Flowers
How long flowers last depends on how well the flowers are cared for.
If the flower stems are re-cut by the recipient and are placed in to fresh water with water changes every couple of days, the flowers should stay beautiful for 5 days, and some will stay lovely for longer.
To get the most out of your fresh flowers we recommend that you:
- trim your stems on an angle an re-trim every few days
- keep any foliage (leaves) out of the water
- keep the flowers in a cool - room temperature place as excess heat will cause them to wilt
- pop them in a clean vase and continue to change the water regularly. If any scum appears in vase clean the vase.
Dried Flowers
Our dried flowers will last a life time if well cared for. To maintain their beauty:
- Keep them away from water and lightly and direct sunlight
- Keep out of water
- To clean simply lightly dust the flowers, ensuring to be delicate as the flowers are very fragile

Our friend was delighted & so surprised with her beautifully presented gift. She loves orchids & it was a double stemmed one that I was not expecting. Chocolates as expected of course.
However the candle was not the one we ordered & the scent was Rose or something which I would never choose as quite old fashioned. She was not such a fan either, though she said it looked beautiful with its own little stand & bag.
I would have deducted a star for the candle not being what we ordered (hence the “mostly very happy”), but I gave a star back for the orchid being double stemmed.
